Spot On Treatment centre is a new physiotherapy practice based at the Kings Park Virgin Active and offers a wide range of services and specialist physiotherapy treatment for sports injuries (acute and chronic), musculoskeletal conditions, pain relief and post-operative rehabilitation. The practice is run by two experienced physiotherapists, Jess Glass and Ruan Fourie. Jess has been practicing for 8 years, and currently plays in South African women’s indoor hockey team. She is also the physio for the women’s outdoor hockey team.
Having graduated from UCT in 2008, Jess completed her community service year at Manguzi hospital in rural KZN, after which she returned to Cape Town to work in private practice. From 2012 she worked at the prestigious Sport Science Institute of South Africa. Whist there, she gained experience in sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation as well as aquatherapy and pilates, both of which compliment rehabilitation wonderfully. In April this year, she decided to embark on a new adventure and moved to Durban to set up Spot On Treatment centre.
Jess enjoys an active lifestyle and has a passion for all things outdoors. If not on the hockey field you’ll probably find her mountain biking, running, hiking or surfing.
